Hi! We are Mike & Claudia Peil. We are in our tenth year of beekeeping but our first year of Florida beekeeping. We relocated from central Illinois in the fall of 2020 and brought our bees with us. We currently have 20 colonies but plan to increase that number in the coming months.
We use a different hive design, horizontal hives, so we don’t have any stacks of white boxes you may be used to seeing. We got tired of the heavy lifting with the vertical hives. We also do not use any chemicals in our hives. Instead we allow natural selection to aid the bees in dealing with pests and diseases.
We sell raw, unfiltered honey and bees wax based products.
